Honeywell / Ademco Alarm Panels with RS-232 Interface

Installation

1. Download these files on your computer:

• ​D_VistaAlarmPanel1.json
• ​D_VistaAlarmPanel1.xml
• ​D_VistaAlarmPartition2.json
• ​D_VistaAlarmPartition2.xml
• ​I_VistaAlarmPanel1.xml
• ​S_AlarmPartition2.xml
• ​S_VistaAlarmPanel1.xml

2. On the Vera dashboard, go to MiOS Developers -> Luup Files and upload the files you just downloaded.
3. If Restart Luup after upload is checked, uncheck it, then click GO.
4. Go to Create Device; in the UpnpDevFilename field enter D_VistaAlarmPanel1.xml and in the Description field enter Vista Alarm Panel (or any name you want). Press the Create Device button.
5. Go to Serial port configuration:
   • Set the Baud to 9600.
   • Select the alarm panel device from the Used by device drop-down list.
   • Optionally you can give a name to this serial port in the Name field.
6. Close this window and click SAVE.
7. After Luup has restarted, reload the UI.
