Onkyo Receiver (AVR) Plugin Advanced Users Guide

This guide will specifically address the features for advanced users.

Scene Advanced Tab

To control the receiver input or hdmi out in a scene you need to use the advanced tab. I created macros to automated selecting songs in net services. Which is why I put the macro buttons on the main device page. To control anything else you need to know what variable to put in the actions of this plugin.

To run an action in the advanced tab you must first select an Onkyo Recieiver Device. You can only run these commands on zones separately because they are separate devices on the Vera. Below are the steps to setting up an example of running an advanced action in a scene.

1. Pick Onkyo Receiver(AVR) device and click Add.
2. Select SetHDMIOutTarget.
3. In the newTargetValue type "00"
   • This value is the corresponding value of in the eISCP documentation which is how my plugin talks to the Onkyo Receiver. To see other values please look at the attached spreadsheet named ISCP Onkyo Receivers.xls​.
